Providing graphic design and commercial photography services to the scientific community in North America and Europe since 2009.
I create digital images to bridge the gap between complex technology concepts and visual arts. Based on a foundation of a 40 year career in biotechnology production, R&D, commercialization and marketing, I am able to effectively interface with investigators on a technical level. Having created more than 70 journal covers, I can help guide my clients through the process of publishing cover art and custom illustrations.

My Story
For the past decade I have had the privilege of collaborating with principal investigators at many of the most prestigious research institutions in North America and Europe.
As a third generation photographer, my love for imagery began with appreciation for my grandfather's talents in the age of sepia tone and Voigtlanders. My father served as ship's photographer in the Pacific during WWII. In the early '70s, I inherited some now vintage dark room equipment and began processing photos and dabbling in oil under the tutelage of my grandmother and inspiration from Bob Ross. At the dawn of the digital age I immersed myself in the transition from film and canvas to pixel capture and digital graphic design.
I work digitally in Adobe CC. Typically files are supplied in jpg, psd, tif, png, eps or pdf format. Photos are taken in 20-46 mp APSC and FF formats.
